Writing and editing

I started my career in 2002 at MacUser magazine, before moving to Bath as MacFormat’s deputy editor. After launching and running Tap! magazine for a couple of years, I was moved to be MacFormat’s editor, charged with reinvigorating this heritage brand.

A few months before leaving Future to refocus on writing and speaking again, I became editor-in-chief for its Apple brands – MacFormat, the US title Mac|Life, iPad User and our range of special editions.

I’ve also written for the BBC, BBC Focus, Computer Arts, Computer Buyer, Computer Shopper, Digital Camera Magazine, PC Plus, PC Pro, Photo Plus, PhotoRadar, Practical Photoshop, Science Uncovered, The Designer’s Desktop Manual, and I write regular technology columns for Macworld and TechRadar.

Please do get in touch if you think we could do some great work together.
